What is UBLCon?
A day of workshops, shopping and laughter for belly dancers of any style, drummers, and fun lovers of all ages and sorts! Bring your traditional moves, your funky grooves, your up-and-coming expressions of mood to grand adventure like no other! (Do we need a circus barker? Volunteers anyone?)
Live Bellydance Dance Show in Bryson City, May 5, 2012
At the end of the day, the UBL crew will put on a live a show, with performances by all the teachers and several of the students. This show will be open to the public with a $5.00 donation at the door.
Feasting
This event will be pot luck so start thinking of yummy possibilities!
Raffles & Drawings
Raffles and door prizes will be drawn throughout the day. A list of shiny items will appear as the date draws closer.
Not Just For Dancers
We realize that Bryson City might be considered a bit ‘out of the way’ by some, so we’re suggesting that visitors from farther out not just come for the day. Just 1 hour from Asheville, NC and 2.5 hours from Atlanta, GA, Bryson City is located on the edge of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Don’t just make this weekend about UBLCon — make it a mini-vacation for everyone in your life, from kids to significant others to your dog!

We’ll be working with local resorts to create ‘package deals’ for UBL participants so keep your eyes pealed over the next few weeks. Bring everyone you love and come get your dance on!
